Annual Fundraising Banquet
This year's Annual Fundraising Banquet will be held
October 12, 2012, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
at Trinity Heights Methodist Church.
Carol Everett will be our speaker. Carol is unique "at
such a time as this" because she comes with an overwhelming amount of
experience in the area of pregnancy termination. Carol knows
firsthand about pregnancy termination, having been both a consumer and
provider. She was involved in the operation of four pregnancy
termination clinics from 1977 to 1983, overseeing 35,000 abortions.
Carol experience a change in her life when she came to know Jesus Christ
as her personal Savior. Today, she is committed to safeguarding
the health of women and their babies all over this nation. She
also speaks to the men and women who have experienced a pregnancy loss
to offer a message of healing and hope.
Carol has been invited to share her testimony on
national broadcasting programs with Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the
Family, Dr. Marlon Maddox on Point of View, Dr. D. James Kennedy of
Coral Ridge Ministries on Truths that Transform, Pat Robertson of the
700 Club, to name a few. She has the distinction of being summoned
as an expert witness in courts of law throughout our nation, testifying
in Washington D.C. and numerous state capitals.
Carol is president and found of The Heidi Group.
The Heidi Group was formed to network Resources for Women/Crisis
Pregnancy Centers across the nation and offers services to the centers
such as board strategic planning, fundraising, volunteer training,
continuing education, etc. The Heidi Group has a prayer ministry
joining Christians to pray for salvation of those in the pregnancy
termination industry, strength for believers and the end of abortion.
The Heidi Group produced and airs pro-life television commercials.
These commercials have aired in many parts of Texas and Women's Resource
Center/Crisis Pregnancy Centers are experiencing a 30% increase in calls
and as high as 70% increase in Hispanic calls when the ads are airing.
Carol's life story is detailed in the book, Blood
Money -- Getting Rich off a Woman's Right to Choose. The
ministry has also released two videos, The Light of Life and
Abortion Techniques.
